After months of work, this year’s production of Richard III is almost ready to entertain a real audience with its delicious blend of intrigue, family feuds, blood, subterfuge, betrayal and murder. It’s hard to describe just how much fun this parade of corruption and treachery has been to rehearse, and surprising to report what a happy company it’s been despite all the scheming and carnage. There are well over 20 people involved across the cast and wider company, and it’s particularly exciting to stage the play in such an appropriate setting.
