After a series of workshops and read-throughs, our brilliant cast of over 20 performers are now in the thick of rehearsals for this summer’s production. We’re delighted to welcome back lots of old faces, and several new ones too. We have lots of talented actors and everyone is enjoying getting to know one another, and also getting to know their characters.
Many thanks to Totnes Independent School for providing space to rehearse. When the weather isn’t wet we’ve been rehearsing outside, where there’s enough space to get a sense of the enormous playing area at Dartmouth Castle. The plan is to start rehearsing at the castle from the beginning of June, once the evenings are light enough. There’s a lot of action to choreograph with such a large cast, and several ensemble scenes, so we’re looking forward to fine-tuning that in situ.
